Emily Boykin, Ph.D.

I am an Assistant Professor of Public Administration in the Department of Social Sciences at Augusta University (Augusta, Georgia USA).

My areas of interest include public administration, public management, and public policy with a focus in public budgeting and finance. In my research, I examine environmental conditions that shape bureaucratic decision-making, policy failure, and government performance. In my teaching, I prioritize knowledge coproduction in applied settings and advancing student analytical writing and research skills.
