Teaching & Mentorship

As an educator and mentor, I aim to provide tools and opportunities for students to tailor to their unique educational and personal goals. I leverage a wide array of teaching techniques depending on course structure; materials curated from diverse authors historically underrepresented in academia; and learning modalities - such as art - as a vehicle for critical reflection. My core intention in the classroom is to demonstrate the utility of theory as a tool to enhance and understand complex public problems and, by design, develop professional and analytical skills necessary to meaningfully impact society as a knowledgeable resident.
